LHA Certification Level

LHA's Silver, Gold, and Platinum performance levels recognize homes designed and built with livability in mind. To achieve these levels, a dwelling must undergo assessments at both design and final-as-built stages by a registered LHA Assessor. Successful assessments result in certification, validating the home's livable features and potential for increased property value.

Silver Level: Meets basic accessibility standards - 7 core livable housing design elements.
Gold Level: Exceeds basic accessibility standards - 12 core livable housing design elements.
Platinum Level: Achieves the highest level of accessibility - 15 core livable housing design elements.

The LHA Certification Process
